Catalog description

This course introduces basic biology lab techniques through experiments involving genetic engineering. Students will learn the fundamentals of genetic engineering through the direct manipulation of genetic sequences studied in easily grown model organisms, such as bacteria. Students are required to schedule their own lab time in addition to attending a scheduled class each week Cross-listed with BIOL 301.
