Catalog description

Prerequisite: Graduate–level standing in Biology or Biotechnology, or Consent of Instructor and Advisor. Molecular ecology is the application of molecular genetics to ecological and environmental issues. The current literature in the field is reviewed. Participants choose a topic to research and develop a research proposal as the final project. Graduate students present a public seminar.
