Catalog description
Prerequisite: BIOL 3011, BIOL 3031. An intensive course focusing on mammalian, plant and bacterial viruses as obligate cellular parasites. This program will examine strategies for sustaining an efficient infectious cycle through discussions around current research, including social implications of study in the field. Shares lecture with BIOL 5031 with additional expectations for graduate credit.
