Catalog description
To guide students’ keyboard versatility, particularly the skills practical and meaningful in various roles as a professional pianist in the 21st century music. The course explores performance in a variety of settings including sight-reading, efficient music learning, jazz, lead sheet harmonization, improvisation and arranging, alto and tenor clef reading, transposition, and quickly grasping the musical styles of the given new repertoire. May be repeated up to 6 credits.
