This course covers history, theory, and research related to the use of strategic organizational communication to change attitudes. The course is a survey course designed to help you understand how organizations create targeted, creative, research-based communication to accomplish their objectives. Students will examine the role of communication in organizational planning and execution of advertising, marketing, public relations, and social change. Strategic Communication provides insight into how communicators use critical and creative thinking to gather, organize, evaluate and deliver information in a culturally diverse world.
