Catalog description

Basic Metallurgy of aluminum alloys, magnesium, titanium, copper, stainless steel, surgical steel, superalloys, noble and rare earth will be discussed. Metallurgical Processes of casting, forging, hardening, tempering, annealing and anodizing along with corrosion control will be emphasized. May be repeated up to 3 credits.
