A theoretical background focusing on the history of agriculture in New Mexico and the Southwest. Readings will enhance the student's understanding about Hispanic and Native American relations with nature and the environment. Prerequisite: 1134. This a starred (*) level course and may be taken for graduate credit by students enrolled in a graduate program. A graduate student enrolled in a starred course numbered below 500 may be required to complete extra work.
