Catalog description

This course educates students on cardiovascular and pulmonary interventions based off of pre-requisitive examination and evaluation skills learned in PT613. Labs will focus on performing, modification, and identification the appropriate patient to make use of cardiopulmonary and vascular interventions. Labs will focus on hands-on cardiopulmonary and vascular skills necessary for the entry level physical therapist, including the conduction of a patient treatment session. Successful completion of this course requires the ability to apply and adapt cardiovascular and pulmonary intervention principles across multiple cardiac, pulmonary, and vascular diagnoses.
