Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy I

Catalog description

This course gives an overview of normal cardiovascular and pulmonary function, pathologies, examination and evaluation, and differential diagnosis. Labs will focus on developing cardiovascular and pulmonary related assessment techniques in order to perform a cardiovascular and pulmonary oriented patient examination. Successful completion of this course requires the ability to integrate and synthesize information from this course across multiple cardiac, pulmonary, and vascular diagnoses.
