Catalog description

This course introduces the student to neuroanatomy and neuropathology and illustrate the correlations to clinical practice. The student will learn cognitive, observational and psychomotor skills necessary to assess and manage adults with neurologic dysfunction. Principles of neurologic examination and evaluation, including neurologic tests and outcome measures, will be introduced. Case studies will be presented throughout the course to highlight these clinical scenarios
