Introduction to Qualitative Methods

Catalog description

PH 654 is a course created for the COPH PhD in Health Equity Sciences program and focused on qualitative research and dissemination for health equity. This course will introduce and explore qualitative methods including the major traditions, principles, and methods of qualitative inquiry. The focus of this course will provide PhD students with an opportunity to apply qualitative research design and knowledge development to assignments and develop critical skills to critique peer-reviewed qualitative research publications through a public health and health equity lens.
