Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to biostatistics with a focus on its application in public health. Topics covered include random events, basic probability theory, sampling, estimation, hypothesis testing, categorical data analysis, nonparametric tests, correlation, simple linear regression, and One-Way ANOVA. Emphasis is placed on understanding statistical concepts and their practical implementation in public health research and practice.
