Transfer, Motivation and Metacognition for the Adult Learner

Catalog description

This course is an extension of the previous course on major paradigms of learning as they apply to adult learners based on the needs and problems faced by adult learners in adult learning contexts (I.e., the workplace). Topics covered in the class include motivation, transfer, metacognition, and transformational learning theory. Practical application in the design and implementation of learning opportunities for adult learners are key components of this course.
