Major Learning Theories for the Adult Learner

Catalog description

Through this course, learners engage with major paradigms of learning as they apply to adult learners based on the needs and problems faced by adult learners in adult learning contexts (I.e., the workplace). Topics covered in this class include behaviorism, cognitivism, and socio-cultural learning theories. Practical application in the design and implementation of learning opportunities for adult learners are key components of this course.
