Catalog description

This course has three major themes: understanding biophysical and psychosocial concepts of health and illness within the framework of whole patient assessment, including health promotion frameworks; understanding the underlying pathophysiology of disease, as well as root causes that contribute to health, illness and disease throughout the lifespan; application of conceptual analysis strategies to education using critical thinking in clinical and pharmacotherapeutic therapy principles. Informed strategies are utilized to apply these themes to teaching and learning in healthcare education.
