Introduction to the elements of music, including basic notation, staves, clefs, major and minor scales and key signatures, time signatures, meters, rhythms, intervals, and triad qualities. For music majors who do not possess sufficient background for enrollment in Music Theory I: Basic Harmony and Voice-Leading. Credit not applicable to a degree in music. Credit not applicable to a music degree.
