Includes an introduction to elementary skills and concepts appropriate for beginners, and exploration of ties between elementary skills and intermediate skills. Also includes study of the pedagogy of Paul Rolland and Motivation Theory. If the student is not pursuing a graduate degree program in music, enrollment will require instructor's approval.
