Catalog description

Measurement techniques and instrumentation for experiments in mechanical engineering, report writing, basic concepts of probability and statistics, discrete and continuous probability distributions, test statistics, classical and robust test of significance, measurement and uncertainty, design of experiments, regression analysis, applications in analysis of engineering experiments. Prerequisite: MATH 2531 and PHYS 1320. Pre- or corequisite: ECE 203 and MATH **316. Restriction: admitted to B.S.M.E. Mechanical Engineering.
