Latin American Film explores themes relevant to Latin American societies through the viewing and analysis of critically acclaimed films and documentaries from Latin America. Such themes include memory and oblivion, immigration, gender issues, marginalized peoples, and globalization. Since the films themselves provide much of the content of the course, no textbook is required.
