Catalog description

This course is an introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), a tool for managing, integrating, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data and information. GIS can be used to explore patterns and relationships in geographic data, seek explanations, and develop solutions to pressing problems. The foundations and theories of GIS will be emphasized.
