The teaching pedagogy course in Chicana and Chicano Studies offers graduate students in the department professional development support to strengthen the teaching of lower-division courses, including observation, mentoring, participation in classroom teaching, and planning, implementing, and assessing the teaching and learning in a lower-division Chicana and Chicano Studies course.
