Community-Based Archaeology and Oral History of Indo-Hispano New Mexico

This is an intensive 2-week course organized around a unique set of collaborations between scholars, students, and the Indigenous and Hispano communities of the Río Embudo Watershed in northern New Mexico. Participants gain formal training in archaeological field methods as well as in the methods of oral history, while helping build new understandings of the complex Indo-Hispano history of the region.
