Principles of nucleic acid purification, electrophoresis, PCR, primer design, molecular cloning, Sanger sequencing, computational bioinformatics, assembly NGS data, annotation, phylogenetic reconstruction, Genbank submission. Six hours combined lecture lab. Fulfills the CMP breadth requirement of the Biology BS/BA degree.
