Catalog description

This graduate seminar explores the intersection of theory and practice in contemporary studio art. Through readings, discussions, lectures, and guest speakers students will gain a strong critical and conceptual foundation for their creative practice. The course will introduce key theoretical and philosophical concepts while examining their relevance to contemporary art. It is designed specifically to address gaps in our MFA Art Studio degree offerings.
