Catalog description

Clinical anesthesia experience utilizes a practicum approach to provide students with the opportunity to apply the principles of anesthesia to direct patient care. Through one-on-one supervised instruction students will develop skills and foundations for perioperative anesthesia case management in operating room and ancillary anesthetizing locations. Expectations and responsibilities increase throughout each semester as students’ knowledge and skills develop within didactic, simulation, and lab courses.
