Catalog description

Liver, Endocrine & Renal Physiology teaches the functions of the selected body systems at a level required for clinical anesthesia management. This course covers the normal physiology and selected diseases of the liver, endocrine and renal organ systems. Students develop an understanding of the integrated functions of the normal body, while also gaining skills in problem solving and critical thinking to evaluate and manage clinical events in the perioperative setting.
