Catalog description

Prerequisites: THTR 258 or THTR 259 . Pre or Corequisites: ENGL 102 with grade C or higher. This lecture/workshop trains students in the technical aspects of mounting theatre productions and events and will build upon their previous knowledge by providing the students with roles of higher responsibility and tasks with higher skill requirements. Participants will learn stagecraft using equipment such as shop tools, lighting instruments, audio and video design as required. The training curriculum is adapted to meet the needs of each semester's specific productions. The course can be taken to fulfill a Theatre Core requirement or as an elective.
