Catalog description

Prerequisites: PSY 359 . This course explores advanced topics related to the impact of information and communication technologies (ICTs) on human thought, emotion, and behavior. Students examine the psychological implications of artificial intelligence, robotics, machine learning, big data, and immersive environments, including virtual and augmented reality. Additional topics may include telepsychology, digital health applications, online learning, and data ethics. Emphasis is placed on understanding how people interact with intelligent systems and how technology transforms social, educational, and professional contexts. Through readings, discussions, and applied projects, students analyze current research and evaluate the opportunities and challenges posed by human-technology integration.
