Prerequisites: PSY 210 . This course examines and evaluates positive psychology and the science of positive emotions. Through theoretical and analytical approaches, the course critiques the benefits of positive thinking, explores the science behind happiness, and highlights the vital role of relationships in overall well-being. The course explores the science behind mental health, equipping students with tools to reframe experiences through a positive lens, assisting them formulate a personal definition of happiness, and furthering their understanding of the field of positive psychology.
