Prerequisites: CS 103 or CS 100 or CS 106 or DS 100 and MIS 245 . This course introduces the fundamentals of database systems and provides practical insight into their applications in business decision-making. The course focuses on relational databases and SQL to manage, analyze and transform data into actionable insights. It also covers database assessment, governance, security, and data visualization for managerial applications using contemporary tools. Through a project-oriented approach, students gain hands-on experience in database systems management and its relevance to business.
