Catalog description
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to business research methods. It prepares students to identify research opportunities, formulate research questions, and develop theoretically grounded hypotheses. This course also integrates conceptual development, research design, variable measurement, data collection, and data analysis. Students will learn to design empirical studies of primary and secondary data and to employ business research methods (e.g., surveys and experiments). Students will also learn to use various data analytics techniques for hypothesis testing and produce business research that generates theoretical contributions and practical implications.
