Catalog description

Restrictions: Junior or Senior Standing in MTSM. This course explores the ethical, social, and technical dimensions of artificial intelligence (AI) in business and organizational settings. It examines how companies can design, implement, and govern AI systems responsibly, with particular attention to fairness, accountability, transparency, and privacy. Students will engage with core literature on AI ethics, algorithmic fairness, model explainability, and data privacy, as well as emerging debates on agentic AI and foundation models, to understand both the challenges and opportunities of responsible AI adoption in the business world.
