Catalog description

Prerequisite: MET 301 . A continuation of MET 301 , this course covers the analysis and design of springs, brakes, clutches, belts, chain drives, gears, gear trains, bearings, and other essential machine elements. The curriculum incorporates applied laboratory sessions. The course culminates in a comprehensive project where students integrate multiple machine elements into a system.
