Catalog description

This course introduces the fundamentals of Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), an interdisciplinary field at the intersection of computer science, psychology, engineering, design, and related areas. Students learn about the history and evolution of HCI, principles of interactions between humans and computers, and methods for designing and evaluating interactive systems. The course also addresses broader issues in the field, examining how HCI is situated within complex social contexts.
