Catalog description
Prerequisites: MET 105 and ( MNET 315 or MATH 305 ). A study of the principles of workplace design and measurement techniques. Covers the relationship between workplace layout, equipment installation/operation, process analyses, and the quality management system. Laboratories will reinforce measurement techniques including stopwatch time study, work sampling, and those techniques related to equipment factory/site acceptance testing.
