Introduction to Entrepreneurship. 3 credits, 3 contact hours

Catalog description

This course covers the entrepreneurial process with which to bring technological innovation to market, with an emphasis on how to think like an entrepreneur. Students will practice ideation, opportunity recognition, business model validation, and learn how to launch new ventures through project-based activities. This course covers entrepreneurship skills that are equally applicable in the startup domain and in an established organization (i.e., intrapreneurship). Students will also interact with the local entrepreneurship ecosystem activities at the NJIT Center for Student Entrepreneurship.
