Catalog description
Prerequisites: ( ENGR 220 or ENGR 221 or ENGR 222 or ENGR 223 or ENGR 224 or ENGR 225 or ENGR 320 ) and Department Approval. The rotation course allows students to apply principles learned in fundamental courses towards a specific manufacturing area of the instructor's expertise. This includes wood/metal working, CNC machining/routing, and metrology found in an Advanced Manufacturing facility. The student will bring together interests and skills developed in previous courses towards the application of design, fabrication, and inspection principles. Students will make oral presentations, communicate designs graphically, and demonstrate realized projects. A list of rotations is published each semester in the course registration bulletin.
