Pre or Corequisites: DD 263 or DD 264 . Restrictions: For Digital Design majors only, or with department approval. The creating of narrative-dependent moving images pushes the boundaries of entertainment technology. This class investigates the progress of visual and special effects as viewing moved from the Kinetoscope to 4K digital projection. The use of mirrors, cameras, and other analog devices along with information technology enabled effects including computer generated imagery are studies. Analytical and creative projects are required.
