Catalog description

This course builds a comprehensive understanding of how computers interpret and reason about visual information. Students engage with fundamental and widely applicable methods across all major areas of the field, including Image Formation, Camera Calibration, Feature Detection and Representation, Classification and Recognition, Motion Analysis, 3D/Stereo Vision, and Shape From X techniques (motion, shading, texture). Coursework connects theory to practice through applications such as Biometrics.
