Catalog description

Prerequisites: CS 375 with a grade of C or better. This course focuses on embodied intelligence in agents that perceive, decide, and act in the physical world under uncertainty, contact, and safety constraints. The course integrates robotics foundations, including state estimation, planning, control, and simulation, with learning-based methods such as imitation learning, reinforcement learning, and representation learning, as well as human-centered deployment considerations. Students engage with these topics through literature readings, class discussions, hands-on assignments, and course projects.
