Catalog description

Prerequisites: CE 210 . This course is a general comprehensive course on the Occupational Safety and Health Act. It provides a broad understanding of the construction safety requirements that are used in the overall construction industry. Various PPE, safety equipment, tools and techniques and their interactions in the construction industry, will be covered with practical illustrations and complemented by hands-on exercises and case studies, and field visits. Students who successfully complete exam and attendance requirements will receive a 30-hour OSHA card.
