Prerequisites: MECH 236 ; BME 321 . This course is designed to provide the student with a clear and thorough demonstration of the theory and applications of engineering mechanics to human body. This course will cover kinematic/kinetic concepts in biomechanics; anatomical terminology for human movement; structures and functions of the musculoskeletal system; biomechanics of bones, joints, connective tissues, and skeletal muscles; and fundamentals of quantitative human movement analysis.
