Catalog description

This course examines how the U.S. Supreme Court and state supreme courts interpret constitutional issues of major societal importance through critical analysis of key decisions and cases. Through reading primary material, students will trace the historical development of constitutional law with an emphasis on studying the contextual factors that have shaped the Court?s controversial decisions.
