Catalog description
This course explores modern microprocessor technology, focusing on microcontroller units (MCUs) for embedded systems. The topics include MCU structure, volatile and non-volatile memories, versatile input/output blocks, analog components, instruction set architecture, and assembly language programming. Laboratory work provides various C programming exercises with the Texas Instruments MSP430, a 16-bit MCU.
