Catalog description

Introduction to human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) and how they are utilized in biomedical research. Lecture topics will include basic hPSC techniques, derivation and differentiation of hPSCs. Lectures will focus on both traditional content and the current literature including industry practices. There will be a focus on preparing a research proposal and a final review paper that will summarize how specific biomaterials coupled with soluble factors allow for stem cell engineering.
