Sport Analytics

Catalog description

An introduction to the concepts and practice of sports analytics. Students learn core analytical skills—visualization, exploratory analysis, correlation, probability, and entry-level predictive modeling—to answer real questions in both sport performance and sport business contexts. Emphasis is placed on framing problems, interpreting results responsibly, and presenting insights in decision-focused formats (brief reports, visuals, and dashboards).
