This course provides students with an understanding of the methods, tools, and approaches used by recreation, parks, outdoor, and event planning agencies to manage financial resources effectively. Students will examine diverse funding sources, budgeting and accounting principles, and ethical approaches to procurement, partnerships, and capital improvement. Emphasis is placed on strategic and transparent financial planning that supports sustainable operations and long-term impact in various organizational contexts.
