Catalog description

Focuses on preparing students for the internship experience through the identification of career goals, selection of an approved internship site, and administration of risk audits of selected sites. A portfolio emphasizing process skills in resume construction, interviewing techniques, establishing internship goals and objectives, institutional and personal risks, and self-assessment is developed. Documenting Certification in Basic First Aid and CPR (infant, child, adult) is a component of this course.
