Catalog description

Building on the foundation established in PAUL 405 : FIRE I, this course guides students through the culmination of their year-long research projects with a focus on professional development, business plan creation, and effective presentation skills. Students refine their research into actionable strategies, incorporate sustainability and ethical considerations, and prepare polished business plans for real-world application. The course emphasizes professional communication, teamwork, and critical thinking, culminating in the FIRE Undergraduate Research Conference where projects are evaluated by alumni, faculty, and staff. PAUL 406 provides students with the skills, experience, and confidence to translate research into impact.
