Catalog description

FIRE (First Year Innovation and Research Experience) is designed to support a successful transition to college life, both personally and academically. Mentored by upperclassmen, this course assists students in navigating campus resources, developing academic success strategies, and working collaboratively with their peers. The course encourages goal setting, innovation, research skills, and builds the foundation to be successful in the university and at Paul College through a year-long group project that extends into PAUL 406 . PAUL 405 and 406 are required for all first-year students in Paul College.
